Weekly Blogger Assignment

This is an assignment that I thought would be relative this week. With the the knowledge of photoshop and in the process of learning Illustrator. This is a project that I have worked on in my free time. The brick background was a photo that my boyfriend took in Scotland, that I added 3 filters to in photoshop. Along with a photo of a peacock feather that I took at the zoo, I used the magnetic lasso amount the eye of the feather and then used the history brush along with just copy and paste the eye to create a peacock tail. In the background I used a piece of artwork that I had done in the past and group and filtered these objects in Ai with the opacity and filter options I’ve learned in Ai in past art classes. The text( along ith the background text and additional filters and opacities). That I had created in Ai and the brush tools to create the water color brush strokes. After I combined all of these objects I took this project back into Ps to add additional filters and opacities because I was more comfortable with these tools. But I learned that these tools can be used in Ai to achieve the same effects with out having to convert this project to and from Ai and Ps that I this has degraded the quality of color and detail. And if I were to print this project, I feel (with what I have learned from Ps) would degraded the entire project.
